ABOUT HILLARY
A Lifelong Call to Serve
I owe my interest in public service and municipal government to my mom. I have vivid memories of her taking me along with her to our local school committee meetings as early as elementary school. From then on, I was hooked; ignited with a passion to see government work well for the people they represent with integrity and diligence. I attended public meetings well into my teenage years; tagging along with mom to financial town meetings and voting in my first election.
My time in college only strengthened my drive to serve and understand our political process even more. I climbed the ranks of Rhode Island College's student government, served as an intern in the Rhode Island State Senate, spent time as a Senate Page in our statehouse, volunteered on more than a dozen campaigns, and began making regular visits to New Hampshire every four years to experience retail politics in action from our Presidential candidate field.
