Coventry Town Council - District 4

NEARBY ROOTS

While I may be a fairly new resident to Coventry, I'm no stranger to this area of Kent County. I grew up in West Warwick in the Crompton neighborhood with my parents and younger brother before moving later in my youth to a home off Wakefield St.

Some of my fondest childhood memories can only be characterized as quintessential to this community:

  • School banquets at Nino's

  • Experiencing my first Awful Awful as a kid at the Tiogue Ave. Newport Creamery

  • Fishing at Tiogue Lake

  • Summers with friends tubing and swimming on Johnson's Pond

  • Grabbing a box of bakery pizza for that friend's birthday party at DePetrillo's Bakery

  • Picking out sleds at Benny's

  • Looking forward to that Polish Sampler plate at the Our Lady of Czestochowa parish festival each year

  • and much more!

After graduating from West Warwick High School in 2010, I attended Rhode Island College where I met my husband Nick and participated in a variety of activities in addition to my studies including student government, the college radio station, college newspaper, and several public service internships in addition to working part-time as a dietary aide at Kent Hospital.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, playing golf, riding on the Coventry bike path, watching all Boston professional sports, binge watching the latest trending TV shows, and giving back to my alma mater through volunteer work with the Rhode Island College Alumni Association.

A THRIVING CAREER

Upon graduation from Rhode Island College in 2014 with a B.A. in Communication and a B.A. in Political Science, I began my career as a public relations and marketing professional with Women & Infants Hospital. Following my time at W&I, I served in marketing roles with CVS Health and South County Hospital before landing at my current role as an account executive for a Providence-based public relations and marketing agency servicing emerging health IT, software, and B2B start-ups in Rhode Island and around the world.

I have leveraged my skills as a writer, marketer, public speaker, and communicator to inject transparency into the political process and increase constituent outreach for the benefit of voters as well as effectively position and leverage Coventry's potential for future opportunities.
